Way to keep it on message, Jeff. It's not necessarily about the institutions or their programs, at least not the way I feel about it. I suggest that a parallel argument can be made for the marginalization of international poetry within the American poetry conscience. While there are a few outposts which promote translation and international literature, they limit themselves within their own preferences and sensibilities.
We all suffer from our own limitations. How wonderful it is to read a text and make no apologies for it!

Thanks, Eric. You make a good point by saying, “they limit themselves within their own preferences and sensibilities”.
